At Pressure 580 Jiu-Jitsu Academy, our goal is to create a welcoming, family-oriented environment where students of all ages and skill levels can grow on and off the mats. We want to honor the roots of classic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, while blending the intensity and effectiveness of submission wrestling, offering a well-rounded approach to self-defense, competition, and personal development. Through disciplined training, supportive coaching, and a culture of respect, we strive to build stronger athletes, resilient minds, and a connected community.

We’re a husband-and-wife team of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts who have each trained for over 15 years. Our individual journeys eventually led us to the same mats, and for the past eight years we’ve trained together, competed together, and built a life rooted in Jiu-Jitsu—including getting married in our Gi’s.

Our vision is simple: create a positive, supportive environment that produces high-level competitors. We believe in hard training, strong fundamentals, and a culture where every athlete—no matter their experience—can grow with confidence, discipline, and purpose.

Before being promoted to Black Belt under Grind HQ/Tom DeBlass, Jeff was ranked #1 IBJJF Master 3 Brown Belt in the world. He brings world-class technique and a relentless work ethic to every class. He is a 2x IBJJF No-Gi Pan Am Champion and a IBJJF

Jeff’s coaching blends high-level competition insight with a passion for building athletes of all ages and backgrounds. His focus: creating a tough, positive environment where students learn real technique, real pressure, and real confidence.

Ashley is a Lawton native and Lawton’s first female IBJJF Black Belt. She is also an undefeated amateur MMA fighter and boxer and has spent more than a decade training and coaching in combat sports. While competition has been part of her journey, her true calling is building a strong, supportive community for women in martial arts.

Her coaching style empowers women to push past their limits, trust their abilities, and find their voice both on and off the mats. Ashley is committed to helping every person who walks through our doors feel capable, confident, and unstoppable.
